OCM is a fantastic vacation destination! This was our first trip, and we hope it’s just the beginning. The scavenger hunt was well organized, although we had to leave because of the rain. Fortunately, there’s another hunt in Cleveland, Ohio, that we plan to try soon. I’ve attached a photo from the Ferris wheel at Jolly Rogers, which is at the southernmost point. The fair food and boardwalk experience were delightful. The highlight was definitely dining at Lizzie’s. This family-run restaurant impressed us with its classic French MCM decor, elegant jazz music, and antique items available for purchase. As foodies, cleanliness is essential, and Lizzie’s exceeded our expectations. I can’t stop thinking about the fresh crab and lobster dishes! From the carefully selected crab in the soups to the lobster rolls and the incredible homemade Key Lime Pie, we were so engrossed in our meal that we hardly spoke. Be sure to visit Lizzie’s and let the chefs, who are the owners, and their son Matt know Kevin and Shari sent you. I’m certain you will love OCM as much as we did.
The staff is welcoming and highly efficient. The room is clean and offers plenty of space. The receptionist was particularly kind. While the breakfast was adequate, the property itself is lovely, featuring a wonderful pool area and a private beach.
This experience was an excellent way to explore various areas of the city. As first-time visitors, we were unsure of where to go or what to see. This activity helped us discover the boardwalk and other attractions.
The experience was extremely disappointing. The guide spent the entire time texting on their phone, making it feel like a waste of money.
This experience was a waste of money. The guide was constantly texting on their phone instead of providing proper guidance, which was very frustrating.
We had a fantastic time doing a scavenger hunt in Berkeley Springs, WV. The Apple Butter Festival coincided with our visit, adding an extra layer of fun. The scavenger hunt led us to discover locations we might not have explored otherwise. Berkeley Springs is a wonderful spot for art enthusiasts.
