Although we didn't see any ponies, we thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride. Our tour guide, Kathy, was incredibly knowledgeable and truly enhanced the experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our boat ride. We spotted bald eagles, great blue herons, and skimmers, although we missed seeing any horses. Captain Rob was both informative and fun, even allowing my 14-year-old to take the wheel. We had the most delicious seafood pasta at Harborside Grill based on his suggestion. We would certainly return with the whole family.
On the day of the outing, I was informed that there weren't enough participants for the original time we booked. They suggested rescheduling to the next outing, which I accepted. However, as we were about to leave, I received another call saying the tour was canceled due to weather conditions. They mentioned fewer boats were available because they were being used for a music festival. The weather hadn’t changed from the earlier cancellation, making it clear that the cancellation was due to the festival. I would have preferred to receive the truth right away so we could have planned our day differently instead of waiting for the next time. I was really looking forward to the tour and am disappointed to have missed it.
The boat ride was enjoyable, and the Captain shared valuable local insights. We were fortunate to spot some ponies in the distance.

I had a great experience on the Assateague Island excursion. Our guide, Bryce, was welcoming and had extensive knowledge about the area and the Chestnut Herd, which is only viewable from the water. The comfortable boat offered ample space, and we were lucky enough to spot the Chestnut Herd along with several dolphins during our journey. Overall, the trip was enjoyable, informative, and affordable. I wholeheartedly recommend this cruise and would happily join again if I'm back in the area. It's important to support small businesses!
The captain was fantastic, and we gained a lot of knowledge about the region. We spotted horses and received excellent suggestions for other places to explore and dine.
We mistakenly went to the wrong dock, but the clerk kindly asked the captain to wait for us. After a quick restroom stop, we boarded the vessel. The captain provided a wealth of information, sharing fascinating details about the homes along the coastline and discussing the issue of bay erosion.
Brice made for an excellent guide during our Mother’s Day outing with my daughters and granddaughters. We were lucky to spot horses and even had a dolphin leap right beside our boat. I highly recommend this experience.
