The guide, driver, and staff were outstanding. We encountered numerous incredible animals, such as rhinos and giraffes, among others. The trip was enjoyable, well-organized, and easy for everyone involved.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Grant was an outstanding guide who arrived ahead of schedule, shared insights about the region on our way to the safari, and made sure we had everything necessary. The safari guide was very knowledgeable and provided a diverse array of encounters with various animals. This unique adventure will stay with us forever. I strongly recommend Wild Safaris to anyone visiting this area. From the initial booking to our return to the shop, their communication was excellent, and they ensured we had a fantastic experience.
This activity truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I researched thoroughly to find the best option. Our pickup was punctual, and our driver was excellent, stopping along the three-hour journey to the reserve and getting us there by 9 am. It was pleasant to have just my wife and me in the vehicle rather than a van full of passengers. The driver was friendly, which made the trip feel quick. Upon arrival, the safari jeep was ready, and the highlight was having the tour to ourselves. Although the excursion mentioned providing Zeiss binoculars, we never received them; however, we got so close to the animals that they weren't necessary. The tour lasted six hours, with the guide ensuring we had plenty of opportunities for interaction and photos. Overall, I'm very satisfied with our experience. I was somewhat disappointed that the listing didn't specify which game reserve we would visit, and we didn't realize that six of the 12 hours would be spent traveling. Still, six hours on the safari felt adequate, and I don't feel shortchanged. So, while it is a 12-hour excursion, the actual safari portion was just six hours.
Our time at the Manyoni game reserve was fantastic. The driver from Durban was friendly and shared plenty of insights about the country. The safari guide was outstanding and offered a wealth of information on the wildlife. The day involved around 6 hours of game driving and 6-7 hours of travel.
The guide was great, and the animals were even more impressive. It met all our expectations. We definitely give it 5 stars.
The journey began with a 2.5-3 hour drive to the reserve, during which our driver, Thabo, shared fascinating historical insights about South Africa, making the trip enjoyable. The reserve itself was stunning, and our guides put in great effort to help us spot as many animals as we could during the 7-hour safari.
It was an extremely enjoyable and fascinating experience. The driver and guide were quite friendly and accommodating. We were able to see a variety of animals. Thank you very much.
My partner and I experienced this safari on November 7th, and it truly became one of our most memorable days. Kyran picked us up at 5:30, and the three-hour drive was smooth, with several stops for breaks and refreshments. He was an excellent guide, sharing valuable information about the areas we passed. Upon reaching the reserve, we were thrilled to spot two lionesses hunting wildebeest right away. Our afternoon tour was led by Wonderboy, who was fantastic; we managed to see 4 out of the big five, including a rare leopard, which amazed everyone. The tour was incredibly rewarding, and after our lunch, we enjoyed another three hours of exploration. I highly recommend this experience; the tour was fantastic, and the people were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I wish we could repeat it, as it far surpassed my expectations for a long-desired adventure.
An African safari featuring the Big 5 is always enjoyable. While there weren't a lot of animals, there were enough for a good experience. The scenery was beautiful. We recommend it.
The safari experience was truly unforgettable, highlighted by witnessing a female lion make a kill, which made the reserve reservation worthwhile. We encountered wonderful people, and Sheldon drove us to and from the reserve, sharing insights about Zulu culture during the trip. Ranger Sizo stood out on the drive; his expertise in locating animals and his insights about them were impressive, and he was diligent in warning us about low-hanging branches.
