The trip was intended to see the wild horses, but we were informed during our ride that they must have gone in for the night. It seems the late boat ride shouldn’t be scheduled if there’s a chance of missing them. However, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and we did enjoy the experience overall.
The trip was meant to be a boat cruise to spot wild horses on Assateague Island, but unfortunately, we didn't see any. However, the captain was fantastic, and everyone enjoyed the outing. We even spotted Michael Jordan on his boat, Catch 23.
We signed up for this cruise specifically to see wild horses, but unfortunately, we didn’t spot any. Paying $80 felt like a waste as it turned out to be just an underwhelming boat ride. While I’m not blaming anyone, I believe it should have been clearer in the booking that we might not see the horses. Overall, it felt like an unproductive use of time and money.
Captain Cathy and her team were fantastic. Although we didn’t spot any horses, she still managed to provide us with an exhilarating experience.
We enjoyed an hour-long boat ride led by our knowledgeable guide, Bryce. The free cocktail was a nice bonus, and we were treated to stunning views of the island houses and the bay.
The hour and a half cruise was enjoyable, making for a lovely date night. While we didn't spot any horses or dolphins, the captain shared fascinating insights about the area. It was delightful to watch the sunset. The small boat, accommodating only eight passengers, allowed us the luxury of an entire bench to ourselves, further enhancing the experience of being close to the water.
It was an excellent experience. We saw many horses, but unfortunately no dolphins. Our guide was wonderful—pleasant, humorous, kind, and responsive to all our questions.
We enjoyed a pleasant pontoon trip to the island, during which the guide shared insights about the island's history and the horses. The experience was definitely worth the ticket cost.
The experience was definitely worth the cost. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had the chance to see the horses. Plus, there was a complimentary cocktail included. We'd definitely participate again.
Bryce was an exceptional captain who provided us with an informative history lesson about Ocean City. I look forward to visiting again soon.
