Our timing was unfortunate as Monday, April 6 was a holiday in Noumea, New Caledonia, resulting in many places being closed. Additionally, our guide Florence struggled with English, making it difficult for us to ask questions and learn about the city and its history.
Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing tour we have experienced. The guide refused to accommodate all six of us in one van, which was easily possible. Additionally, her English proficiency was very limited, and she hardly spoke throughout the tour, offering no more than a simple drive around the island that we could have managed ourselves at a lower cost.
The tour was enjoyable, showcasing the main attractions of Noumea. Florence, our guide, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and passionate about her hometown.
