For those who love trekking and connecting with nature, Stara Plana is essential. This excursion allowed me to fully enjoy the natural beauty and local culture. My guide, Milena, led me to Stara Plana, where I experienced the stunning Rosomacki Lonci canyon, which seems to emerge unexpectedly. The beautiful Tupavica Waterfall near Dojkinci, standing about 25 meters tall with some ice still present, added to the charm. We also explored Izvor Vrelo, a clear and enchanting nature reserve, and a humble Christian Orthodox Monastery tucked among mountain rocks in a quaint village. Throughout our journey, we paused to take in breathtaking views and I was lucky to spot some horses wandering. Though winter meant the scenery wasn't lush, every season has its own beauty, proving that nature never ceases to impress. If you seek relaxation and an escape from the daily grind, look no further. This authentic experience is truly unforgettable, and I highly recommend it.

Bane guided us on this tour as well as another one titled Nature Break. He took us to less accessible areas that buses or taxis cannot reach. He made an effort to introduce us to local villagers, who graciously welcomed us into their charming homes. One lady, a honey producer, offered us Raki in her garden beneath the trees. A couple from an abandoned village also invited us into their home. Additionally, he brought us to great restaurants and introduced us to various local dishes. Overall, he exceeded our expectations consistently, providing incredible surprises and an enjoyable music playlist in the car. Truly an experience of 'Riding with the King.'
