Reviews
This was a fantastic tour of the Newport region. The guide provided a wealth of knowledge and highlighted various historic landmarks. Despite the chilly weather, we stayed warm inside the boat. I highly suggest this tour.
This tour provided an excellent introduction to the Bay, and the crew was both friendly and very accommodating to a member of our group with accessibility requirements. I highly recommend it.
The experience was both comfortable and filled with valuable information, making it highly entertaining. I would definitely recommend this to both tourists and locals.
The cruise was enjoyable, and the guide was knowledgeable. However, I advise being cautious with your credit card. I ordered a soda for $2, but I was charged twice—$2.10 for the soda and another $57.29. I plan to dispute this charge.
Our experience on the Coastal Queen was fantastic. The narrator had great insight into the Newport region, and the boat was very comfortable. We even spotted a seal resting on a rock. I would highly recommend this and plan to return!
The cruise was a fantastic experience. Despite the cool weather in April, the cabin was warm and inviting. We enjoyed taking photos on the outdoor deck before retreating to the bar to warm up. We were excited to spot seals near Castle Hill and on the rocks at Rose Island. The narrator provided insightful information about the region, and the deck crew was friendly and attentive. We look forward to returning.
The experience was truly exceptional and left a very positive impression. I highly recommend it.
The journey was both calming and educational. Even though the water was quite choppy, the boat remained steady and smooth. The tour guide provided interesting facts throughout the entire 1.5 hours. It was very enjoyable.
The crew was cheerful, friendly, and very accommodating. It was enjoyable to view Newport from the water, though I wished we could have circled around to see the mansions, as we remained in Narragansett Bay.
The boat ride and tour guide were both excellent. The only downside was the high parking fees in the area. I suggest planning this for a weekday rather than a weekend.
