The sailing experience far surpassed what I anticipated. Captain Mike was both personable and highly professional. Everyone interested in sailing got to take the helm at various times during the 3-hour trip. The Intrepid is a renowned historic vessel, having secured victory in the America's Cup twice. We had an exciting time racing against the Heritage three times and won each race!
The captain, a young woman, demonstrated impressive knowledge of both the area and sailing techniques. She skillfully managed the boat, while the other crew members were equally proficient. Experiencing sailing on an America’s Cup boat had long been a bucket list goal for me, and on the Heritage, everything was exceptional. My husband enjoyed taking the helm for about 20 minutes. As avid small boat sailors, we wholeheartedly recommend the Heritage to anyone who values sailing performance and beautifully designed vessels.
We enjoyed a sunset cruise with my wife and son. Despite heavy fog limiting our speed, it was a wonderful personal experience. The crew invited us to assist with the sails, which added to the fun, and they provided great insights into the boat's history. I highly recommend this activity.

However, if you prefer a sightseeing cruise, consider Sea Newport instead. This sailing adventure was thrilling, with the rail sometimes in the water, letting us feel the excitement of a genuine America's Cup race.
