Manage your expectations. There's a good chance you won't spot any whales during this season, but you'll most likely encounter plenty of dolphins during the trip.
The captain made an effort to locate the best spots for viewing wildlife, demonstrating a solid understanding of the area while searching for elusive animals. We enjoyed watching small pods of bottlenose dolphins and sea lions resting on the channel marker. He provided plenty of time for us to take pictures and observe the animals in their natural habitat.
The crew was fantastic and check-in was straightforward. Unfortunately, the rough seas caused by strong winds and the absence of sea mammals led to an early return. The captain sincerely apologized, and we received complimentary tickets for another outing with no expiration date.
Be patient and observe. The experience was wonderful. The staff was excellent. While we missed the sharks, we did spot whales, dolphins, and sea lions.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today. Upgrading to the Catallac was worth it; the boat offered plenty of seating, and the small group made it feel almost private. Our captain was fantastic and had extensive knowledge about the wildlife. While we didn’t spot any whales, we did see a stunning pod of dolphins. If you're a fan of the ocean and wildlife, this tour is a great choice.

The boat tour was fantastic, with a helpful and informative guide. The entire crew was excellent. Although we didn't see any whales since it was still early, we enjoyed watching pods of dolphins, including many babies, and plenty of birds. The captain was attentive, quickly finding activities for us, and we even spotted some seals. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.
We looked forward to this trip and were pleased to see many dolphins and some sea lions. However, we were disappointed not to spot any whales. The average rating comes from the lack of information provided; past trips I've taken included details about points of interest, scenery, and wildlife like birds and fish. While the cruise itself was enjoyable, it felt dull until the dolphins appeared. The experience would greatly improve with a more informative captain.

Jill, our guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which made the trip enjoyable. If we had spotted a whale, this would have been a perfect experience.
