This brunch cruise has no grace period and departs exactly on time. I understand the policy, but I want to share my experience. We organized this birthday brunch for my best friend, and as friends who rarely meet, it meant a lot to us. I prepared for the cruise on 6/15/2024 at 11 am, leaving home around 9:40 am with plenty of time. Unfortunately, I hit heavy traffic and my estimated arrival time kept changing, ultimately reaching 11:01 am. I informed my friends to alert the crew. As I arrived at the parking lot, I heard the boat’s horn. My friend told me the captain might have turned the boat back if he saw me running, but that one-minute difference caused me so much stress, I couldn't breathe. I ended up in tears. I felt like the captain was mocking my situation, which really affected me. I hate writing negative reviews, but it’s disheartening to know I'll miss this experience with my friends.

The team, from the manager to the servers, was exceptionally accommodating, resulting in a memorable experience. I loved the top deck, complete with toys for kids like beanbags and Jenga, which was great to see, even though I didn't bring a child. For those seeking beautiful views from a ship while dining with loved ones, this cruise is worth booking. Parking costs only $10, which is very convenient. However, the quality of the meat and desserts could be improved; while the beef, pastries, eggs, water, juice, dipping sauce for the beef, and fresh fruit were delightful, the chicken and salmon were overly salty, and the desserts were extremely sweet, despite their small size. The seating arrangements were well-organized, and the buffet access was managed seamlessly. Even with unlimited champagne, the atmosphere remained calm and composed. Overall, it was a good experience, but I wouldn't recommend the desserts for diabetics.
Starting our day this way was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed everything—the weather, the crowd, the food, the entertainment, and the view were all perfect. As first-timers, we found the waitstaff incredibly friendly and accommodating, regardless of whether they were assigned to us. The Captain's expertise about the water and the boat was comforting. We're eager to do this again, hopefully with a larger group next time. I must reiterate, the food was exceptionally delicious.
