The highlight of the cruise for me was the dancing and getting others to join in. I truly enjoyed watching the servers dance with us to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. It’s wonderful to see strangers come together for a fun time.
The boat's captain chose to enforce a personal smoking policy that was not communicated beforehand. If it was meant to be a non-smoking cruise, that should have been made clear. I was very unhappy because it spoiled our time, and I wanted to leave. I demand a refund.
We organized a wedding with City Cruises, and it was outstanding. Our recent dinner cruise on Christmas Eve was equally impressive. The boat, weather, sunset, crew, food, and music were all exceptional. We'll continue to bring our out-of-town guests for a unique and delightful Southern California experience.
The experience was quite disorganized. The server managed to get our appetizers correct, but they completely missed one of our entrees. Despite having paid for the drink package, I still had to purchase my drinks. Additionally, the bartender was overwhelmed, making it take a long time to get drinks.
I especially loved being on The Wild Goose and taking in the surroundings connected to John Wayne. The staff were friendly and engaging. The food was excellent, with a wide variety. Overall, it was a fantastic day.
The cruise experience was outstanding from start to finish. Everything from the boarding process to the food and service was exceptional. I highly recommend it. Our server, Madison, was friendly and attentive, and having a window seat was worth the extra cost. I’m looking forward to the brunch cruise next. It made for a wonderful Mother's Day.
Our experience was fantastic, especially for my new wife who had never visited California before. I arranged the cruise as part of our honeymoon. The table was beautifully set with champagne and roses for us. The food and menu were excellent, and the service was outstanding. Though the cruise comes with some pricey add-ons, it was worth it for such a special occasion. It made for lasting memories for both of us.
The dinner offered breathtaking views, excellent service, delicious food, and enjoyable entertainment. We were welcomed with Champagne and received a chocolate truffle as we entered. The staff was incredibly friendly.
The food and service were very disappointing. They ran out of options, and our waitress repeatedly asked what we wanted for our first course, despite telling us there were no choices available except for the bisque. We got our entrees just minutes before arriving at the dock at the trip's end. I would never attempt this again.
I really enjoyed the experience. The staff was very friendly. It's a good idea to choose your meal early because they have a limited selection for the main dishes.
