An unforgettable experience with a wonderful team. This helicopter flight is something we will always remember and is a must-do at least once in a lifetime.
Being picked up by the XL limousine was a great start. Communication was straightforward, and the helicopter ride was stunning. We could even store our large luggage at the helipad. The flight was smooth with amazing views. Highly recommended.
This experience was meant to be the highlight of our trip, flying over Manhattan at night. Instead, we were squeezed into a helicopter with seven people for just 14 minutes, including takeoff and landing. From the moment we arrived, we felt like a burden to the staff. The pilot didn't speak at all, and he seemed disinterested. We took off from Kearney, New Jersey, barely made it to Manhattan, and then turned back. The photos we got were disappointing, and it left us with memories we'd prefer to forget. This was far too expensive and not worth it. Save your money and don't fall for the hype.
The pilot, Tony, was really great. He took the time to address all my questions, and I valued his expertise and pleasant demeanor.
The flight was incredibly smooth, and the crew was very welcoming. I was able to capture fantastic photos from the plane at various angles. It's an experience I would definitely share again, and I highly recommend it.
A visit to New York isn't complete without this tour. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and the pilot did an outstanding job, making us feel very secure throughout the experience.
They do not provide refunds if something goes wrong, which is frustrating. I understand that not everyone expects a full refund, but taking all the money without offering any credit is unacceptable. It seems that they don't care about their customers' feelings. If you're unsure about participating, it's better not to spend your money because they'll just take it without concern.
The flying tour of NYC was very entertaining. The pilot was skilled and provided a lot of information, while the ground staff were also very helpful. It was pricey for just half an hour of fun, though my brother, who pilots, explained that operating helicopters is costly. One downside is that if you're seated on the port side, you have to stretch over those on the starboard side to get pictures of key sights like the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. I thought a U-turn could fix this, but my brother mentioned that such a maneuver would not be allowed due to safety concerns with other tours. I appreciated the option to tip online, as the staff member who prepped us truly deserved it, especially since I rarely have cash. Overall, it was a good experience but on the expensive side, so aim for a starboard seat for optimal views.
Our experience was seamless. We flew during sunset and got to see New York both in daylight and under the evening lights. I highly recommend this. The total flight duration was 32 minutes.
The helicopter tour offered stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. However, the facilities at the Downtown Airport/helipad were lacking. When arriving early, the staff were rather impolite in asking us to leave, and there was no waiting area aside from some public benches close to a busy highway, where homeless individuals were resting.
