The tour offered good value, although we only made a few stops and learned some interesting facts about New Haven. The app navigation was somewhat unclear, and some stops felt more like directions. I wasn't fond of the tour guide's voice, and the background music was somewhat distracting. However, I appreciated the flexibility of taking the tour at my own pace anytime, and I look forward to finishing it when I have more time.
The code given online, louis2780, isn't working when I attempt to apply it. I paid $9.95, but I didn't take the phone self-guided tour. Instead, I went to the Yale visitor center, where I signed up for a complimentary tour at 1 pm.
We had high expectations for this tour based on prior reviews, but it was disappointing. While the guide provided a good description of the chapel, he failed to explain how to enter. He took us through areas to show us vegan spots, burger places, and the theater district. After 20 minutes, we stopped listening to him. He also pointed us to a statue of Nathan Hale that wasn't there. Overall, it felt like a total waste of money.
Absolutely worth the $10 spent. The experience was very informative and easy to follow. We enjoyed a scenic trek through the Yale campus.
The tour was informative and the narration was engaging. I appreciated the ability to pause and resume even after closing the map. The live map feature was also a nice touch, helping me track my location if I went off course.
Wonderful experience with engaging commentary. The highlight was stopping to explore various locations, restaurants, and museums. There's also a lot of shopping available in the vicinity.
The tour was enjoyable and engaging. Having purchased tours from various platforms before, I found this one quite good. However, I would prefer a more neutral English accent instead of a strong American one. While we understood everything, it felt slightly odd, as we usually encounter that accent mainly in movies.
The tour was straightforward and well-organized, definitely worth the cost. We did experience some frustration when the app malfunctioned a couple of times.
This was an excellent way to get acquainted with the history and culture of Newhaven, CT. The directions provided were clear, and the information shared was quite engaging. Overall, it was very well executed.
This was a great overview. I appreciated the chance to stop and explore specific locations. We even returned to the burger place!
