East Rock Park

East Rock Park is a large urban park encompassing 430 acres, known for its distinctive traprock ridge that rises 330 feet above New Haven. Established in the late 19th century, the park features various trails, scenic overlooks, and the impressive Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, which commemorates local military history.
