What's the itinerary?+
• The tour starts with a pick-up from your chosen location in Delhi at 7 AM. Pick-up is available from any hotel in Delhi NCR or the airport in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, or Faridabad. • Following the hotel pick-up, the driver will take you to Nizamuddin Railway Station, assisting you in locating your train coach and ensuring your comfort as you take your seat. Breakfast will be served on board as the train departs from Delhi. • When you arrive at Agra Railway Station, your guide will meet you outside your train coach with a sign displaying your name. You will then visit the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal; your guide will provide insights into the history of this iconic monument as you explore it for about 3 hours. • After the Taj Mahal, you will visit Agra Fort, a large red sandstone structure constructed by Mughal Emperor Akbar. This UNESCO World Heritage site, built in the 16th century, features several palaces like Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, and the Pearl Mosque, which offer impressive views of the Taj Mahal. A visit here will take around 1 hour. • You will take a pause to enjoy the local cuisine, with your guide suggesting restaurants for an authentic dining experience. • After lunch, the sightseeing continues with a visit to Itimad-Ud-Daulah, often called the "jewel box" or the "Baby Taj," this tomb is seen as a precursor to the Taj Mahal. • At the conclusion of the tour, you will return to Agra Railway Station, where your guide will help you find your seat on the train and ensure your comfort. Supper will be offered as the train departs from Agra Railway Station. The train is expected to reach Delhi Station at approximately 7:30 PM, where your driver will await you outside your train coach. • Upon your arrival in Delhi, your driver will meet you at the platform and escort you back to your hotel or the airport in Delhi NCR.
