Your driver will assist you in reaching Delhi Nizamuddin railway station, helping you locate your train coach and seat to prevent any confusion. You'll board the Gatimaan Express, which is India’s fastest train, departing at 8:10 AM and arriving in Agra at 9:50 AM, following a journey of 1 hour and 40 minutes. After your day in Agra, you will return on the same train, Gatimaan Express #12049, leaving Agra at 5:45 PM and returning to Delhi by 7:30 PM. • At 9:50 AM, both your driver and local tour guide will meet you at Agra Cantonment railway station, holding a sign with your name for easy identification. You will proceed directly to the Taj Mahal. This remarkable white marble structure is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and represents love. Commissioned in 1632 by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is situated beside the Yamuna River and features a 42-acre complex that includes a mosque, guest house, and beautiful gardens enclosed by tall red sandstone walls. This meal will serve as a perfect way to relax and recharge for the rest of the day. • Next on the itinerary is Agra Fort, a significant historical site. This expansive red sandstone fort was the principal residence of Mughal emperors until 1638 when the capital shifted to Delhi. It is filled with palaces, courtyards, and rich histories. Also referred to as Lal Qila or Fort Rouge, it is a place where history unfolds. • The subsequent visit will be to the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, commonly known as the "Baby Taj." This intricately designed Mughal mausoleum is celebrated for its delicate carvings and inlaid marble, earning it the label “jewel box.” It provides a quieter environment to appreciate Mughal art and architecture. • You'll make your way back to Agra Cantonment railway station by 5:30 PM to board your train to Delhi. The Gatimaan Express departs Agra at 5:45 PM and will bring you to Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi by 7:30 PM, concluding a smooth and swift 1.5-hour return journey. • Upon arriving at Delhi’s Nizamuddin Station at 7:30 PM, your driver will be positioned right outside your coach to take you back comfortably to your hotel, the airport, or any other chosen location in Delhi, Noida, or Gurugram.
