• Pickup will be from your chosen location in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida, with a driver and guide arriving for assistance.
Following the pick-up, the itinerary includes visits to both New Delhi and Old Delhi.
• First stop is Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring a remarkable 73-meter tower constructed in the 12th century by Qutb-ud-din Aibak. This red sandstone structure, embellished with intricate carvings, is a significant representation of Indo-Islamic architecture, situated within the historical Qutub Complex.
• Next is The Lotus Temple, recognized for its distinctive lotus-shaped design. This Bahá'í House of Worship welcomes individuals of all faiths and offers a peaceful setting for contemplation amidst beautifully maintained gardens. Note that it is free to enter but may have long queues, so viewing it from outside is an option. It is closed every Monday, so an alternative location can be chosen for that day.
• Then, visit India Gate, a notable war memorial honoring Indian soldiers who died in World War I. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, this 42-meter-high arch is surrounded by green lawns and serves as a poignant tribute and a favored area for relaxing evening walks.
• Next is Humayun's Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is a stunning 16th-century mausoleum commissioned by Emperor Humayun's wife, Empress Bega Begum. • The Parliament House, known as Sansad Bhavan, is a distinct circular edifice in New Delhi, crafted by architects Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker. This architectural landmark functions as the base of India's Parliament, representing the country's democratic ethos and features notable columns, landscaped gardens, and a rich historical background.
• Chandni Chowk is a vibrant and historic market in Old Delhi where visitors can navigate ancient lanes on an exhilarating rickshaw ride. • The Red Fort in Delhi symbolizes Mughal architecture, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. While viewing the fort from outside, you can appreciate its imposing red sandstone walls, impressive gates, and intricate craftsmanship all amidst the city's liveliness. The fort’s historical importance and architectural splendor make it a notable landmark in Delhi.
• After the sightseeing activities, you will be dropped back at your preferred location in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida.
