• 9:00 AM or at your designated time, pickup from your chosen location within Delhi, Gurugram, or Noida. A driver will greet you, and the sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi will start. A tour guide will join you along the way and assist throughout the day. • Discover and appreciate the monuments of Old Delhi, including Jama Masjid (The Friday Mosque), which was commissioned by the fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, known for his contributions to Islamic architecture, particularly the Taj Mahal. It is the largest mosque in India and is often viewed as the pinnacle of Indian mosque design due to its impressive scale. • Take a rickshaw ride to one of Delhi's oldest markets. Old Delhi's bustling wholesale market offers an authentic medieval bazaar experience. During Shah Jahan's reign, a tree-lined canal, reflecting the moon, ran through its center, leading to the name "Chandni Chowk," meaning "Moonlight Square." • Drive around and stop for photos at the Red Fort from the outside, as 70% of the site is under the control of the Indian Army, allowing for external views and photo opportunities. • Visit Raj Ghat, the location commemorating the site of Mahatma Gandhi's cremation following his assassination in 1948. • Pause for photographs at India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. • Drive around for photographs of Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India, notable for its expansive mansion and remarkable architecture. Few official residences of heads of state globally can match the size and grandeur of Rashtrapati Bhavan. • Continue to take photos at The Parliament House, where the government of the largest democracy in the world operates, overseeing a nation of 1.3 billion people. • Enjoy a meal at a delicious buffet lunch (if the all-inclusive option is selected). • Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most significant and sacred Sikh shrines. The complex comprises the Gurudwara, a kitchen, and a large holy pond. The practice of Langar (community kitchen) allows people of all backgrounds to eat in the Gurdwara kitchen (langar hall). The food is prepared by dedicated volunteers. Visitors are asked to cover their heads and remove their shoes at the Gurdwara. Everyone can volunteer within the premises. • Explore Ugrasen ki Baoli, a historic stepwell in central Delhi, showcasing impressive architecture and ancient engineering. It is one of the oldest and best-preserved stepwells in the city. • Finally, visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This towering minaret, built in 1192 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak and later completed by Iltutmish, exemplifies Indo-Islamic Afghan architecture and remains remarkably intact. Surrounded by lush gardens, it provides a leisurely spot for visitors. Each of its five stories features unique designs, standing strong as it has for centuries. • After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel. The tour concludes with pleasant memories of Delhi.
