I booked a flight with Meteorito to view the Nazca Lines after traveling from Lima to Nazca. While the flight was enjoyable, and the pilot ensured that everyone had a good view of the figures, I was quite dissatisfied with their pricing practices and customer support. I was informed multiple times that all airlines had a fixed fare of $100 for this flight, only to later find out that another passenger was charged $75 for the same journey, and other companies were offering similar flights for about $70. When I confronted María, the representative at the Cruz del Sur bus station working with Meteorito, and the Meteorito staff about this discrepancy, I received no partial refund or explanation regarding the price variations. This lack of transparency in charging different prices for the same service gave me a sense of dishonesty and left a negative impression. Meteorito needs to address issues that harm customer experience and fairness in pricing. They failed to assist me in recovering any of my money or in offering a fair price comparable to what others paid. Consequently, I would not recommend this company to other travelers.
