What's the itinerary?+
• Begin with a drive to Rosh Ha-Nikra (Arabic: Ras Al-Naquora) - A notable geopolitical site at the Lebanese border, offering a panoramic view southward of the northern coast. Then, proceed to take the cable car to the rocky beach to explore the naturally formed tunnels and caves, where you can enjoy the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean as waves enter the caves. • Hike along the cliff at the "Arch Cave" park (Hebrew: Ma’arat Keshet) for another breathtaking view of the northern coast and the western region of upper Galilee. Experience standing atop the natural rock arch that remains from this karstic cave's roof, towering above the valley below. • Remove your shoes, roll up your pants, and enjoy a short hike in the refreshing waters (1-2 feet deep) of the Hardalit spring, providing a blissful experience reminiscent of paradise. • In the afternoon, travel south to Acre (Akko). En route, there is an option to visit the Bahai Gardens (Al-Bahjeh), the burial site of the Bahai faith's founder, along with insights about this sect and its cultural history. • Acre, an ancient strategic port city following Joppa, may allow for visits to various historical sites, time permitting. Explore the northern wall, which withstood Napoleon Bonaparte, and the Crusaders Hospitaller fortress to learn about the lives of the Crusader monks. A walk through Acre's old city will include the old market, stops by the Soufee school, and a stroll along the southern walls with views of Haifa Bay, concluding at the Fishermen's Port. A Mediterranean fish meal (late lunch or early dinner) at a seaside restaurant could enhance the culinary experience within the historical and nature-focused journey.
