The snorkeling experience was enjoyable, but it lasted only around two hours. After that, we spent 4.5 hours at a beach bar restaurant, which felt excessive and became quite dull.
The full-day snorkeling trip didn't match the promotional descriptions. The shallow water stirred up sand, making visibility poor. Fish were only attracted to bread. The 7 km distance felt endless, as it was far from shore and crowded with many other catamarans and people, which made snorkeling difficult. We had to wait for those on other tours to finish before returning to the hotel. While the restaurant offered good views, it was overpriced, and our guide pushed for purchases. Thankfully, we brought our own food. It’s advisable to wear a UV shirt, and the traffic was air-conditioned.
The service provided was outstanding, with staff being extremely attentive and supportive throughout. The whole experience was incredible, from the journey there until the end. I highly recommend it.
It was a fantastic walk. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The location is lovely, and the staff was clean and attentive. Moniere was especially kind and very attentive.
The service was excellent, with cheerful and attentive staff. I recommend it wholeheartedly; you won’t have any regrets.
A stunning location with a delightful walk. The restaurant offered excellent food, and everything was clean and appealing. This experience is truly unforgettable.
Beautiful location with excellent service. Everyone was friendly and eager to assist and share their knowledge. The area is well-kept, featuring clear water at a perfect temperature.
I’ll start with a minor issue to consider: when booking, I saw the tour was offered in Spanish, but it ended up being conducted only in Portuguese, which was a bit confusing. However, the guide, Clayton, was exceptionally friendly and made an effort to ensure we understood everything, especially timelines and directions. The excursion includes transportation to a location equipped with amenities like bathrooms, changing rooms, a buffet, beautifully landscaped areas, and a swimming pool—it's a lovely setting. Upon arrival, we enjoyed breakfast before taking a boat to a platform for coral viewing. Snorkeling is included, and you have the option to use oxygen tubes. There are also additional paid activities, such as quad biking and horseback riding, which I can't recall all the details about. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and comprehensive experience.
I feel I was defrauded. I purchased a trip through Tripadvisor that was never fulfilled. I cannot advise anyone to use this service.
We enjoyed the Maracajau excursion with my partner and our two children, aged 8 and 12. Since we were at Goldmen Vila do Mar in Natal, Mar Azul provided complimentary transport, and snorkeling was the only cost in Maracajau, with kids under 9 only paying half. The reception area was stunning and exceptionally clean, with friendly staff, a lovely pool, and reasonably priced, delicious food. We arranged our lunch for 12 before our 1 pm snorkeling trip. The sea was calm and quieter than Natal, and the catamaran tour took us to a platform with crystal-clear water. Photo packages were also available and looked great. Everything was beautiful, though I would have preferred some music at the platform. Overall, it was a remarkable experience. Thank you!
