Austin was an excellent guide! The dolphins found us before he even had to use his dolphin call. It was incredibly enjoyable to view the sights from the water. We had never encountered this kind of boat before today. I can't recommend this experience highly enough; it's a must-do!
The guides were friendly and welcoming, making for a very enjoyable experience. The entire outing was fun, and the surroundings were lovely as well.
My husband and I had a great time on this tour. Navigating through the mangroves on small watercraft was a lot of fun. Despite slightly cooler temperatures than usual for the season, I felt comfortable in my long sleeve shirt and capris. Austin made for an excellent tour guide.
I had an amazing time. Dylon was incredible. I would jump at the chance to do it again.
This tour is an excellent opportunity to explore the mangroves of Ten Thousand Islands. The Go Cats provide a fun way to experience the backwaters near Marco Island, combining adventure with beautiful views. Our guide Austin was fantastic; he showed great patience with those in our group who needed help driving the boat. I highly recommend this tour.
Dylan was an excellent tour guide. We spotted dolphins, and driving the boats was both easy and enjoyable.
We had an amazing experience with this company. Since my husband has a disability from a stroke, we were initially concerned about the accessibility of the two-seater catamarans. However, our guide Austin made it easy for him to get on and off without any issues. While it took a little time to get used to driving the vehicles, I found it quite manageable. The adventure was incredibly enjoyable, and I highly recommend it. We saw dolphins multiple times, both near the boat and while we were at one of the small islands for about 15 minutes, where several dolphins were swimming around. This is a fantastic activity to do around Marco Island. One tip: we arrived early and waited at the restaurant as instructed, but we were supposed to go to the back and down to the water instead. I only saw the outdoor seating when I went around the back, and we nearly missed the tour despite arriving 30 minutes early, which was an hour before the departure time. Fortunately, they reached out to us, and we managed to make it in time, but it was a bit embarrassing since I missed the safety briefing and they had to repeat it for us. I generally like to arrive early for tours.
This was my first experience driving a Go Cat boat. Austin, our guide, was incredibly helpful, patient, and provided clear instructions—I eventually managed to drive after several attempts. Those with prior tiller experience would likely pick it up more quickly. Once we all followed Austin in a line through the mangrove islands, it was truly enjoyable. Our group consisted of four boats along with the guide's for around two hours of navigating through the mangroves, including a short stop at a beach. Being so close to the water in a Go Cat is a unique experience, and a memorable moment was having a dolphin swim across my wake.
This experience offers a unique and enjoyable long drive on a sporty flat bottom cat boat that you won't find in many other locations. It’s definitely worth the cost, and we will likely book it again during our next visit to Marco Island.
We had a fantastic time. Our guide Dylan was excellent and provided a lot of information. This activity is definitely something you should experience while in the area.
