Spend an entire day on Castaway Island, with transportation included from Nadi or Denarau. A coach transfer takes you to Port Denarau, where you board a modern catamaran with air-conditioned lounges and viewing decks, cruising to the island.
Once on Castaway Island, enjoy golden sand beaches and crystal-clear waters ideal for snorkelling over vibrant coral reefs. Non-motorised water sports such as kayaking and windsurfing are also available. Resort amenities include a swimming pool, several bars, and an option for massages (additional charges apply). Lunch is served beachside at the Terrace Restaurant, offering expansive views before you return to Denarau in the late afternoon, cruising past the scenic Mamanuca Islands.

The crew was excellent and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the island and had ample time for both the pool and the beach. Watersports were available, but I chose not to participate. Our guide, whose name I can't recall, was fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful day until the weather changed later on.
It was pleasant to be on the boat while exploring various islands, but the guide offered minimal assistance beyond keeping track of group numbers. There were other islands available with drink packages for $25 and $40 ferry tickets. The hotel staff on the islands were friendly and welcoming.
The islands were stunning, and the vibrant colors of the ocean were incredible. It was a wonderful experience and a fun-filled day for the entire family.
The resort offers an outstanding experience with delicious food. There are numerous water activities available, including snorkeling, water slides, and kayaking. Families with young kids can enjoy a dedicated family-friendly pool area.
We participated in the sunset tour in February, and it was an incredible experience with wonderful hosts and stunning views. I would highly recommend it.
Our experience was fantastic. The resort was stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. The water was crystal clear, truly a tropical paradise.
The island didn't offer much enjoyment. The beach and shoreline weren't suitable for swimming, snorkeling, or other water activities. Other islands appear to be better options. It's not truly the Castaway island; it simply resembles the one from the movie and uses the name to draw visitors. Additionally, the staff didn't exhibit friendliness or a positive attitude.
Castaway offered an incredible experience with a wonderful couples massage on the beach in a peaceful location. The snorkeling was beautiful, and it provided great opportunities for family enjoyment.
Castaway is a stunning resort with a lovely beach and plenty of activities. The lunch was enjoyable, but the boat ride took about an hour and a half. There were limited beachside seating options due to resort guests reserving spots before we arrived, and they didn’t appear very welcoming to day visitors. The pools are designated for adults and kids, which felt a bit inconvenient for families. I'm uncertain if I would visit again.
The beach was exceptional! The pool offered a refreshing escape, and the lunch was enjoyable. We particularly appreciated the warm welcome and farewell.
