We were led to believe this tour would offer a cruising experience, but in reality, the boat cruised for merely 20 minutes before idling. The boat was not oriented to view the sunset, and we were forbidden to go to the back to see it. I understand that fuel shortages might necessitate less cruising time, but we were not informed of this beforehand. The live music was enjoyable, but the buffet was disappointing; it featured tiny prawns in just one dish despite being advertised otherwise. There wasn’t enough fruit salad for everyone at dessert. The live dancing was summed up by one performer’s remark, "I know you are bored, I'm bored too." At $185FJ per person, this experience was quite underwhelming. I've always been honest in my reviews, and I can't recommend this tour. In hindsight, I wish we had chosen a different option.
Be very certain before booking the Sunset Dinner Cruise. Payment is taken upfront, and we are still awaiting our refund. For three days, we have attempted to call and email about our cancellation and refund. The company is quick to send emails for upselling but lacks in communicating for other issues. We even went to the "office" at the Denarau island marina, only to find it closed. Zero stars.
The pick-up was prompt, and the bus was air-conditioned. Check-in at the port went smoothly. The staff and crew on the boat were warm and provided delightful singing and entertainment. The food was enjoyable.
