We joined the 7 pm tour to fully immerse ourselves in the eerie atmosphere. It was quite a frigid December evening, getting even colder as the night progressed. Nevertheless, our guide Kim remained lively and shared captivating stories from the past. She recounted European and Irish folklore that has shaped our current Halloween and Christmas celebrations. Kim's knowledge of the local history, including its darker aspects, was impressive. Mystic features very old buildings, with a rich, ancient history beneath them. I am definitely eager to revisit some of the restaurants she introduced us to on the tour, hoping to explore their interiors and perhaps encounter a ghost.
Despite the cold night, our guide Sia was bright, engaging, and full of information. The spooky stories were both captivating and intriguing. I highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was both knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. Even with the temperature at 13°, she led us through the village, sharing fascinating stories about Mystic and its spirits while keeping us entertained.
I gained some new historical insights that I found quite engaging. The host was pleasant and energetic, but I felt she was somewhat long-winded, especially since it was very cold outside. A more concise approach could have worked better given the weather.
