  Amazing

  My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her surfing experience and managed to ride the waves right to the shore. Kevin is an exceptional instructor! His passion for surfing truly inspired her to love the ocean and surfing even more. I highly recommend taking lessons from Jack's.

  Love the enthusiasm!

  This was an outstanding experience. After visiting Myrtle Beach for 13 years and observing Jack's Surf Lessons instructors, my family finally had the chance to participate. Kevin and Em were exceptional, providing clear instructions before we entered the water. Despite challenging undercurrents and strong waves, my husband and kids (ages 8, 11, and 13) all managed to stand up on their boards. There were countless smiles and high fives. I'm very impressed, and everyone is eager to repeat it next year, hoping to extend the session beyond one hour.

  Great experience for everyone

  Our experience was wonderful from beginning to end. We took our four teenagers surfing for the first time, and they loved it. The communication after booking was excellent, with details about the water temperature and the availability of wetsuits for rent, which enhanced our enjoyment. Upon arrival, we received a warm and friendly welcome. My teens felt at ease and really had a great time, asking when they could take another lesson. We plan to book again in the future.

  Great Surf Lesson

  I had an excellent first surfing experience. Conlon was an outstanding coach who made everything feel comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this lesson.

  Solo surfing at 53 and worth it.

  Kev was incredibly patient and made surfing a fun experience. While I can't say I've mastered the sport yet, I would definitely do it again.

  Awesome first experience

  Kev and Evan, the instructors, were amazing. They created a welcoming atmosphere and made everything easy to understand. While renting a wetsuit is optional, I highly suggest it, as the cold water makes the experience much more enjoyable.

  The instructors were exceptional—very professional and thorough. Their enthusiasm and support made a huge difference, and our 15 and 16-year-olds thoroughly enjoyed their experience. It couldn't have been better.

  0.00 Breathalyzer and I Still Went to Jail – Beware of Local "Justice"

  I want to caution anyone traveling to North Myrtle Beach. Some time ago, I was pulled over at 12:30 AM for a stop sign infraction while visiting a friend. Even after explaining my recent eye surgery and registering a 0.00 on the breathalyzer, the police dismissed my account and claimed I was "on something." I was arrested, underwent a forced urinalysis at the hospital, and faced verbal mistreatment from the officer when I attempted to monitor my sample. I spent the night in jail and incurred thousands in legal fees, only to have the stop sign charge as my sole conviction. My own attorney eventually revealed he wouldn’t sue the city to preserve his ties with them. Tourists should realize that they may be left to navigate this flawed system alone. Being completely sober does not guarantee your safety or innocence here.
