Private surf lessons are offered by Kokopelli Surf Camp in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. Each two-hour session focuses on teaching surfing fundamentals using boards specifically designed for beginners. The instructors are experienced professional surfers, CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment.
Lessons include assistance with entering the water, catching waves, and developing your skills in a supportive atmosphere. Despite the challenging waves and strong wind, Logan maintained a calm demeanor and kept the energy high. She transformed those tough conditions into a great learning experience, leaving my daughter excited to ride more waves. Logan’s surf teaching style is excellent, and we look forward to returning to surf with her again.

Kokopelli is truly exceptional. The instructor, who is also the owner, was excellent with my great-nephews, aged 10 and 13, who were new to surfing. Opting for a private lesson was the right choice; he patiently guided them on the beach with standing techniques. Once he felt they were ready, they went into the water, and it was wonderful to see their progress from struggling to getting up on the board for longer periods. They had an amazing time, and I strongly recommend this experience. Additionally, the owner captured photos and shared them with us, demonstrating his thoughtfulness. Wishing him the best in expanding his business.
