It lies at the base of Jabal Akhdar, making it a necessary stop for travelers heading to Jabal Akhdar. • The Jebel Akhdar, also known as Al Jabal Al Akhdar, is part of the Al Hajar mountain range within the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman. It reaches an elevation of 2,980 meters and includes the Saiq Plateau, which stands at 2,000 meters above sea level.
