The tour was canceled the following morning after I made my booking because a cruise ship arrived, causing all guides to shift their focus to that instead of regular tours. I received a call only after I reached out while waiting for the guide.
This was a great tour overall. It involves quite a bit of hiking, so prepare accordingly. Our guide, Nikhil, was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive to questions. He was especially helpful with my mom, who had difficulties with the hike, even assisting her with her purse. Nikhil's patience was greatly appreciated, especially since none of us are in great shape. Our driver, Wasim, was also nice, accommodating, and welcoming. The entire experience, from pickup to drop-off, lasted about four hours. We only explored the caves, but starting from a nearby location might allow for additional stops. The view from the top was stunning, and I recommend going when the haze is minimal so you can enjoy the Mumbai skyline. The monkeys added to the fun, as we saw plenty of them.
