A long but possible day: pre-dawn flight to Delhi, private car to Agra, the Taj plus the Agra Fort, evening flight back to Mumbai.
A long but possible day. Pre-dawn pickup from your Mumbai address, a morning flight to Delhi, and a private car to Agra — about three hours by expressway. Inside the Taj complex you'll have a guide and roughly two and a half hours: enough to walk the gardens, photograph the mausoleum from each cardinal direction, and step inside the dome.
Lunch at a fort-view restaurant, then the Agra Fort in the afternoon, and an evening flight back to Mumbai. Door-to-door, you'll be home before midnight. Both flights, the private vehicle, all entry tickets, and a licensed Agra guide are included.

Praveen, known as Rocky, greatly enhanced our tour with his helpfulness and rich knowledge, making it a memorable experience for my family. He provided detailed historical insights and knew all the best spots for memorable photos. I highly recommend booking this tour. Our driver, Sonu, ensured we arrived quickly and safely, showcasing impressive driving skills on challenging roads.
Vivek was a fantastic guide and Madan was a superb driver. They took us to all the most impressive historical sites and great photo locations. Both were knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, patient, and eager to help. I highly recommend this tour.
Our day was exceptional visiting one of the world's remarkable wonders. After a courteous pickup from our hotel, we were met by K K Sharma at the airport, where our adventure began with warm traditional welcomes of flower chains and a photo. K K took us to a roadside location for delicious Marsala tea and shared interesting points of interest along the way. We then met our tour guide, Rocky, whose extensive knowledge made our visit to the Taj Mahal unforgettable. He provided fascinating insights while we captured memories with photos. Later, we enjoyed a visit to the Star of India for shopping and had a wonderful lunch. Afterward, we saw a marble inlay demonstration and explored the fort, concluding our day with a rug-making demonstration and tea. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this tour along with K K and Rocky.
We chose this trip to the Taj Mahal as a bucket list experience. While the driver from the Delhi airport to Agra was excellent and made the long journey pleasant with a stop for tea, the local guide was a letdown. He rushed us through the Taj Mahal, which was stunning, but we felt pressured to buy overpriced photos from a photographer he suggested, which went up to £85 for poor quality. We were supposed to visit a fort but instead were taken to lunch, and we ended up paying for that meal again due to a dispute with the guide. He also brought us to jewelry shops and a marble factory, where we felt significant pressure to make purchases. It was uncomfortable when he sat next to my husband and insisted on monitoring his review on a travel site while making sure it got posted. Being far from Mumbai made it hard to address these issues on the spot. We've done many excursions before, but this was the most expensive, and the pressure we felt was disheartening, especially since we missed part of the tour that we could have completed if not for the shopping detour.
Vijay Chauhan, our tour guide, provided us with an in-depth understanding of the Taj Mahal. He not only shared insights about the stunning architecture but is also an excellent photographer. There's no need to hire outside photographers; Vijay is more than capable. We wouldn't have made it here without our driver, Sonu. I highly recommend this experience.
Vijay was an excellent guide who navigated us through the Taj Mahal area with great efficiency, directing us to the best photo spots and helping us skip long lines. He had a deep understanding of the history and communicated clearly.
The visit to the Taj Mahal was incredible—its beauty and history are truly breathtaking. Our guide Raj played a significant role in making this experience one we will never forget.
Praveen, also known as Rocky, along with Madan, were excellent tour guides who ensured we felt very safe during our experience.
The guide in Agra was excellent, and the driver from New Delhi was pleasant. While the trip from Mumbai was more costly and demanding due to its length, visiting the Taj Mahal made it all worthwhile.
This was an excellent one-day tour to the Taj Mahal while I was in Mumbai. The itinerary was well-organized by Nikita Holidays, and KK & Raj provided excellent care from the pick-up in Delhi to Agra and back. As a solo female traveler, I felt at ease throughout the entire day. While staying overnight in Agra is ideal, this was perfect for my schedule.
