My husband and I decided to rent bikes during our vacation, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Teddy and Ty provided excellent guidance, offering insights on routes and things to see, along with a very useful map. Riding along the beach was a favorite moment. We spent the whole day biking through Shem Creek and Sullivan's Island, taking breaks for drinks and food, especially enjoying the lovely view at Vickery's bar and grill. I highly recommend this experience. Exploring the charming side streets and admiring the beautiful homes was delightful. The bikes were ready for us upon arrival. Thank you for an amazing day!
Riding the e-bikes was a lot of fun! Our tour guide took us around the historic village and the beach in the low country. It was the best part of our visit to Charleston.
This tour was fantastic! I had a blast and so much fun. Teddy was an excellent guide, the information shared was valuable, and the views were stunning. Riding on the beach was amazing. Highly recommend this tour!
The e-bike tour with Ben was the standout experience of our Charleston visit. We discovered the stunning beauty of the areas surrounding downtown Charleston. Ben was engaging, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around. We explored many places and enjoyed every second.
This experience was fantastic! I highly recommend it. Our guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He even took and shared photos from our ride. I'd definitely do this again.
Our family has visited this place several times for routine tuning on our Rad Power Bike. When we needed to ship our bike across the country and couldn't find a large enough wrench to remove the pedals, Bryson quickly removed them in just 10 seconds. He also provided valuable tips for safely packing an electric bike, which we had never done before. We truly appreciate all the help, especially from Bryson.
I had a wonderful experience with Ben as my guide. He shared a wealth of local insights and captured some fantastic photos for us.
We had a fantastic time on this bike tour, and the guide was excellent. It was a lovely day, though it got a bit windy at the beach, so long sleeves or a jacket could be wise for a 65-70 degree day. We were comfortable in long-sleeve, dri-fit shirts and shorts or cropped pants, even if the owner thought we might feel chilly. Departing at 1:30pm instead of 3pm seemed beneficial. Riding fast on the beach was a highlight! If you want to absorb the historical information, try to stay near the front, as it was hard to hear over the distance and the views. I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 for this reason. I definitely recommend it for experienced teen riders and older.
The tour was enjoyable, with a nice ride around Sullivan's Island and an informative history lesson. I would recommend it. However, one participant experienced a bike issue, and it was surprising that the guide did not have basic bike tools available, which seems like a necessary precaution for any tour, alongside a first aid kit.
The tour was enjoyable, but we made too many stops, which caused us to run out of time, and we missed out on the "milkshake" that was supposed to be included. There was excessive focus on discussing home prices and the high cost of real estate, which took away from the overall experience. It would have been better if we had ear pieces for the guide instead of stopping every few minutes for explanations.
