Reviews
This was truly among the best experiences we’ve had in Charleston. We've done it twice: once with family and friends exploring the harbor, and again with business associates during a partners meeting. Both experiences were fantastic. I want to highlight the exceptional service — very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this for either scenario. Five stars.
We left Shem Creek and cruised through the shallows by the Mt. Pleasant waterfront. Once the sails were raised, we sailed across the harbor towards the Ashley and back, taking in sights of the Charleston skyline and Fort Sumter, plus a delightful dolphin sighting. Captain Justin and the crew were hospitable and skilled, even successfully retrieving a hat that fell overboard. A fantastic way to enjoy the water!
The crew was exceptional, and everyone had a fantastic time, including me, the sober one. A big shoutout to Sunshine for their excellent work; keep it up!
The harbor cruise was incredibly relaxing! I took a visitor to Charleston, and we enjoyed views of major attractions like the Ravenel Bridge, Fort Sumter, the USS Yorktown, and downtown Charleston. It offered a unique perspective on the city, even for a local. I would absolutely do this again, just remember to bring sunscreen.
The crew on this hot afternoon cruise, with temperatures reaching 99 degrees, were outstanding. We had a great time exploring the harbor, spotting dolphins and various sights. Drinks were plentiful, and the staff shared a wealth of information. If you have a couple of hours to spend on the water, I highly recommend this tour, especially since it’s conveniently located near historic downtown, saving you time.
It was quite disappointing. I brought my sister for her 60th birthday, anticipating an ocean tour, but there was none. We boarded the boat, found our seats, and could get drinks, but there was no narration—just music for two hours. We traveled a short distance before returning. I had hoped for information or stories, but there was nothing. This was certainly not our favorite experience in Charleston.
The crew was fantastic and full of energy, making our experience enjoyable. They even organized a surprise birthday celebration for one of our friends. The music was excellent, and the service was very professional.
This is the perfect way to enjoy the water in Charleston. The boat is stunning, the crew is both entertaining and well-informed, and you have a great chance of spotting dolphins in the creek or harbor.
