Ben, our guide, took us to the best spots and trails around Mount Pleasant. He also captured photos during the tour and shared them with us later, which was a wonderful addition. The e-bikes were easy to ride, and the scenery along the trails was truly remarkable.
Cliff was an excellent guide, full of knowledge. We explored a wide area but made several stops to delve into the region's history. His insights, including facts about Outerbanks filming, were much appreciated. Riding e-bikes was the perfect way to see the sights.
This tour offers an excellent introduction to the area and provides a fun biking experience. I would recommend including it in your Charleston itinerary.
I had a wonderful morning E-bike tour with Cliff. As we were the only participants, he allowed us to choose between a beach or village ride, and we opted for the village. That was a great decision. Cliff shared his extensive knowledge of Mt Pleasant's history, making the tour very engaging. He is an excellent storyteller and clearly enjoys sharing the charm of the village. The E-bikes were in great shape, making the ride accessible for everyone. I highly recommend this experience.
At 60 years old and a little out of shape, we still had a fantastic time with our first e-bike experience. My wife found starting each ride a bit challenging, but she really enjoyed it.

We booked the Charleston Shores tour on Saturday, but it followed the same route as the Outer Banks tour from the previous day. I would have preferred a tour with fewer explanations and more biking.
The Mount Pleasant village neighborhood offers lovely views of the waterways. The guide was excellent, making the ride easy and low-stress, while providing a wealth of information.
The tour of Mt. Pleasant was fascinating, revealing history and insights about the local housing market that I was previously unaware of. We truly experienced life in the neighborhood. However, one bike in our group had a mechanical problem, causing concern when someone almost went over the handlebars due to a loose bolt. Overall, it was an excellent experience, but it highlighted the importance of ensuring equipment is in good condition.
The tour guide's remarks about the high property prices in the area came off as somewhat crude. Although we had the option of a waterfront or village route, we were not pleased about having to navigate through traffic. Additionally, his comments regarding “having to work for tips” felt inappropriate.
