Since we were the only participants for a Tuesday in early February, we were uncertain if the tour would proceed, but it turned into a fantastic personal tour. Having attended several walking tours in the past, we had some expectations. Jennifer was friendly, and the food and drinks were excellent. Come hungry, as the portions are large, and we left feeling very full. Don't forget to make room for dessert!
Fairhope is a charming village full of character. Jennifer was an excellent hostess! The restaurants we went to were delightful, and the food and cocktails were delicious (make sure to come hungry)! Jennifer, a lifelong resident, offered much intriguing history about Fairhope and the surrounding area; this was one of the standout moments of the experience.
Avoid eating before the tour begins, as the food is outstanding and in abundance. The drinks are just as delicious. Our guide Jen was excellent, possessing a wealth of knowledge about Fairhope's history. Strolling through downtown Fairhope was a delightful experience.
