This experience is enjoyable regardless of your interest in military history. You can explore multiple levels of the ship and see how the crew lived and worked. The submarine is similarly displayed. There are also many fighter planes to observe and learn about, making it all very fascinating. I strongly recommend it.
This was an incredible experience to share with my grandson. He was truly amazed, and I appreciated the historical insights. It's definitely something everyone should see.
The ship is enormous and offers a lot to explore. I would definitely suggest this experience to my friends and family.
Excellent tour. It's impossible to experience everything plus the Drum in just one day. They also feature a restaurant and gift shop that you must exit through.
Visiting the USS Alabama and the USS Drum submarine offers a valuable opportunity to learn about a significant piece of history and the courageous individuals who fought for our freedom.
Be prepared to walk and ascend steep stairs, as well as traverse a lengthy upward gangplank. It's important to dedicate about 5 hours to explore everything fully.
This experience was incredible. I only wish we had more time to explore. There's so much to see, so be sure to set aside more hours than you initially expect.
A fantastic experience filled with history. I really enjoyed the opportunity to step back in time and compare it to today's technology. It created wonderful memories, and I had an excellent time.
The tour offers an impressive array of military history covering all branches. The storytelling is well-balanced and engaging. We particularly appreciated the exhibit on the Tuskegee Airmen.
This was my first experience visiting a battleship, and I found the tour quite surprising. Approaching from Mobile's Bay, the ship appears imposing as you get closer. Once inside, the sheer size is astounding. Although there are color-coded tour indicators, we got lost a couple of times, so exploring at your own pace might be best. The highlight, without a doubt, is the bridge of the USS Alabama, which requires navigating a steep and narrow staircase. Being inside the ship really makes you appreciate the challenges of living there during its operational days. Highly recommend this experience.
