Reviews
A straightforward stroll that covers the key areas of the historic district. You'll get a brief overview of the town's history and discover several spots worth revisiting later.
I was quite disappointed as I anticipated a ghost tour, but it turned out to be more of a historical tour. The guide was knowledgeable about the history, but lacked expertise in the ghostly aspects.
The experience was both informative and timely for the season. It provided a substantial amount of historical information along with some intriguing "spooky" stories. There were familiar elements alongside some new insights.
Mary was excellent! She provided thorough descriptions and took her time to share all the details. There was so much history to discover!
The tour was enjoyable, but the ending was concerning. Our guide departed, taking a safer route while we were left in a potentially sketchy area, which she had warned us about. This was unsettling, especially since we'd already given a generous tip. Encountering homeless individuals in a dark area with needles on the ground felt unsafe, making it seem as if we were being set up for danger. I'd suggest that guides accompany participants back to the starting point, as I've experienced in other tours. The hurried directions on how to get back were overwhelming, especially in a place we had been cautioned about.
Mary was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of Mobile and its complicated history. I strongly recommend this tour and her as a guide.
I enjoyed a relaxed 90-minute stroll through Downtown Mobile, checking out different attractions. The guide was friendly and informative.
Grace was friendly and had a wealth of knowledge. The tour took roughly an hour and twenty minutes and was worth the expense. Be prepared for plenty of walking.
Even as local residents, we had never explored downtown Mobile’s nightlife until this tour, which turned out to be a delightful experience. Bree, our guide with her striking purple hair and cape, was a treasure trove of local history and ghost tales. Her knowledge felt effortless and spontaneous, even delving into the varying perspectives on some of the city's mysterious deaths. To our surprise, we were the only participants that evening, making it an ideal setting for a first date—our own private tour. Over the course of about two hours, we encountered some intriguing occurrences: lights turning on where they shouldn’t and doors opening unexpectedly. Bree was engaging, fun, and created a friendly atmosphere that made us feel comfortable right away. I highly recommend this tour and suggest you ask for Bree as your guide.
I waited at the location provided but there was no one with a lantern. I walked around the park multiple times, but there was no sign of the guide or any group.
