Walking into the Mall of America is truly an eye-opening experience, as full-size roller coasters zip around right in front of you. I was amazed by the vast indoor amusement park, with loops and rides centrally located within the mall. The excitement was palpable from the moment I entered. Nickelodeon Universe stands out as a unique attraction; one moment you're shopping, and the next you hear thrill-seekers shrieking as they soar above. The vibrant, colorful atmosphere adds to the liveliness of it all, making the visit memorable. If you haven't been, the thrill of encountering roller coasters inside a mall alone makes it worth the journey. It's a genuinely unique experience.
The Nickelodeon Universe is a fantastic spot for children. I believe the wristband is a good value if you plan to enjoy all the rides. Adult and teen rides cost 6 points, while kids' rides are 3 points. There's also a zip line available for an extra fee. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for the family, and the water ride was enjoyable.
For my daughter's birthday, I chose to celebrate at Nickelodeon Universe in Mall of America, and we had an amazing time.
I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable my time at the park was. I think my expectations were low because it was indoors, but I had a lot of fun. My only regret was the limited selection of merchandise specifically for MOA Nickelodeon Universe. Although I did buy a few items, the sizes didn't seem accurate. The park itself offered lots of enjoyment, the rides were exciting, and everything was operational during our visit. The theming was impressive. Overall, I had a great experience and would return if I'm in the vicinity.
My grandchildren absolutely enjoyed their birthday gift. We traveled from Michigan to celebrate their birthdays here, and they had nonstop fun. We definitely plan to return.
We had an amazing time at Mall of America! There is so much for kids to do, making it a perfect family trip. We spent the entire day there from noon until closing. Highly recommend it!
It was fantastic. The only issue I encountered was purchasing two extra tickets that I didn't end up needing, and unfortunately, the tickets are non-refundable.
The energetic and vibrant atmosphere on a sunny day was refreshing and clean. However, while waiting in line with the wristband, I noticed overflowing trash cans, helium balloons hanging from the ceiling beams, and a concerning crack in the glass ceiling above one of the roller coasters. The water ride's queue design was lacking, and the live landscaping seemed unhealthy, which was disappointing. It felt like the foot traffic flow at Legoland could have been better arranged. While boarding the Nickelodeon Ferriswheel, I remarked to an attendant that it would be fun if the gondolas resembled "orange couches," and he agreed, noting that at least one would be good for breaks. As a single parent with two kids, I appreciated the wristband I purchased and our own collapsible four-wheel Radioflyer wagon, which performed much better than mall strollers. Unfortunately, the staff appeared weary, young, and not particularly friendly when providing boarding instructions. Additionally, as a parent of two children under ten, navigating the bathrooms was challenging. We got lost once (ending up at the lockers), and after figuring out that the blue signs led to a greenish wall, I found there was only one family bathroom. This made things tough, and I would suggest adult diapers for those with short visits.
This place is incredibly enjoyable, offering activities for everyone, regardless of age or thrill preference. While it can be a bit expensive, it's well worth it for a full day of fun. There are various attractions you can combine for discounts, and don't forget to bring socks for the kids to use in the play areas and bouncy house.
This indoor theme park is excellent. We really enjoyed the log ride with its two significant drops. The rollercoaster and ghost blaster shooting ride were also entertaining.
