• Masjid al-Qiblatayn is a mosque located in Medina, which holds historical significance for Muslims, as it is where Nabi Muhammad received the instruction to change the Qiblah from Jerusalem to Mecca, resulting in the congregation, led by a companion, altering their prayer direction. • Masjid Quba is the inaugural mosque constructed by Muslims, situated in the outskirts of Medina, Saudi Arabia. It was originally built 6 kilometers from the city in the village of Quba, which later became part of Medina as it expanded. • Jannatul Baqi, also referred to as the Garden of Heaven, is the principal cemetery in Madinah, where numerous members of the Prophet's (ﷺ) immediate family, approximately ten thousand companions (Sahabah), and various notable and virtuous figures are interred. • Situated in the Shuhada Martyrs District, in front of the well-known Mount Uhud, is the revered grave of Hamzah, the uncle of Prophet Muhammad, regarded as the Master of Martyrs and Lion of Islam. The phrase "The eye cries for Hamzah but the eyes of Hamzah don't" reflects his legacy. • This site represents a section of Mount Uhud, the location where the second battle in Islam (the Battle of Uhud) occurred in 3 AH. The Prophet (ﷺ) declared, “This mountain loves us and we love it.” [Muslim] The next location will be the Garden of Salman Farsi, where the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) planted three hundred date palms to liberate Salman Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) from slavery, located near Masjid Quba. • Masjid Ghamama, located approximately 300m south-west of Masjid-e-Nabwi, is recognized as the site where the Prophet (ﷺ) performed the Eid salah during the final years of his life. • This mosque, situated close to Gate 6 of Masjid-e-Nabawi and Masjid Al Ghamamah, is characterized by a single dome and is relatively smaller in size. • Masjid Jummah, found on the outskirts of Madinah, marks the location where the Prophet (ﷺ) conducted the first Jummah salah shortly after his Hijrah (migration) from Makkah, about 2.5 km from Masjid-e-Nabwi. Around one hundred Muslims participated in this initial Jummah salah, including relatives from Bani an-Najjar and some from Bani Amr, who accompanied him from Quba. Following the Friday prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) mounted Qaswa (his camel) and proceeded to the city of Madinah. • The Seven Mosques, or Sab'u Masajid, is a complex that consists of six small historical mosques in Medina, Saudi Arabia, though it is referred to as "seven" in the name, as it originally included Masjid al-Qiblatayn.
