What's the itinerary?+
• Begin a notable exploration of significant sites in Madinah. From the historic plains of Uhud to the sacred wells associated with the Prophet ﷺ, this itinerary reveals narratives of faith and sacrifice that influenced early Islamic history. • The first location is Mount Uhud, recognized as the battleground of the notable Battle of Uhud where seventy companions, including Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib (RA), sacrificed their lives for Islam. Connect emotionally with this historic site where valor and faith were evaluated. • The next destination is Masjid Al-Mustarah, or Bani Haritha Mosque, named after the local tribe. The Prophet ﷺ rested here upon returning from the Battle of Uhud, making it a site for contemplation and tranquility. • We proceed to Masjid Al-Dira, a small but important mosque linked to the Battle of Uhud. Its name, Al-Dira, signifies armor, as it is said that the Prophet ﷺ donned his battle armor here while preparing for Uhud. • Following that, we visit the Seven Mosques situated on the western side of Mount Sela’. These small yet meaningful mosques mark the location where the Prophet ﷺ and his companions dug the trench (Khandaq) for the defense of Madinah during the Battle of the Trench in 627 CE (5th year of Hijrah). Each mosque symbolizes a point of faith and strategic importance during this pivotal moment. Lunch on your own. • The next stop is Al-Ghars Well, recognized by the Prophet ﷺ for its clean water. He utilized it for drinking and ablutions and requested that his body be washed with its water after his death. • Following that, we visit the Al-Faqir Well, historically linked to Salman Al-Farsi (RA). This location used to be part of his orchard, and the Prophet ﷺ blessed the well, which has since become a revered historic site. • We continue to Al-Hajim Well, considered to be even older than Islam. It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ drank from this well as well. The nearby date farm provides a peaceful setting, showcasing the agricultural lifestyle of early Madinah. • Before concluding the journey, we stop at the Souq Al-Kamasha, one of the oldest traditional markets in Madinah, with a rich history exceeding 430 years. Walk through the historical paths imbued with the aroma of spices, fabrics, and artifacts that mirror centuries of Arabian commerce. • Return to the hotel. After a day enriched with spirituality and history, head back to your accommodation in Madinah.
