Our experience with Gabby was fantastic. She demonstrated a deep pride in her town and country, providing clear explanations throughout the tour. As a professional, she was an excellent driver who was both helpful and polite.
I highly recommend this professional company. Their communication was excellent before our cruise. We enjoyed a fantastic day, thanks to our amazing guide and driver. Although we didn't spot any monkeys, we understood it was nature; nothing is guaranteed. However, seeing a tiny frog, which was about the size of a fingernail, a snake that had caught a larger frog, and watching whales play just off the coast made the experience incredibly worthwhile.
We had a wonderful time exploring the fish market and visiting Montecristi. The boat building process was truly intriguing. I suggest beginning the day early.
Caori, our tour guide, was extremely friendly and well-informed, speaking fluent English. She shared insights about the culture, economy, and history of the area, highlighting the differences between regions. We enjoyed fresh seafood at the fish market, learned about the rainforest, and witnessed the handcrafting of Panama hats.
Everything was excellent. The guides were outstanding, and the tour matched its description perfectly. The jungle experience was incredible. Everything was executed smoothly, on schedule, and in comfort.
We had a fantastic time on this tour. Being part of a smaller group made it more enjoyable, and our guide Anna was excellent. She provided clear explanations and ensured that everyone felt at ease. I highly recommend this tour.
The tour offered a diverse range of experiences. We explored a fish market, a wildlife preserve in a cloud forest, enjoyed delicious ceviche at a beachside restaurant, and visited an intriguing lighthouse. We also purchased Panama hats in Montecristi and toured Ciudad Alfaro. It was a fascinating day. Our guide Anna was remarkable—articulate, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind.
The tour was fantastic. We visited the fish market, explored a wildlife refuge, and hiked a bit up a mountain to enjoy stunning views of the coastline. Our tour guides were both wonderful and friendly.
Tony was a fantastic guide who showcased the best of Manta with kindness and enthusiasm. We appreciated every stop on the tour. We started at the lively fish market, then explored the woods and encountered small wildlife. A hike to the lighthouse offered amazing views, followed by a delightful ceviche lunch on a beautiful beach. The presentation on Panama Hats and their intricate production process was fascinating. Each stop made for an enjoyable adventure. Highly recommended.
This is a review for a cruise port excursion that included visits to a fish market, Jabancillo Museum, lunch, a monkey forest, and Panama hat making. Gabriel from Narwell handled our group bookings with professionalism and care. A couple of days before our arrival, Gabriel informed us that our visit to the archaeological site had to be canceled due to safety concerns and bad weather, but we would still be able to visit the museum, which everyone accepted. On the day of the tour, Narwell greeted us warmly. Our guide was exceptional and attentive, ensuring that our group of older individuals, some using walking sticks, received appropriate care throughout the tour. The museum was small but very insightful. At the monkey forest, we encountered monkeys and even the world’s second smallest frog. Watching the Panama hat-making process was enjoyable, and we relished the local cuisine during lunch in a semi-jungle setting. The fish market showcased Ecuadorians' pride in their fishing heritage, and we all enjoyed seeing the fresh catch. Overall, it was a wonderful day, and all of us in the group of 12-13 were glad we chose Narwell Tours. Would we recommend them? Definitely, without hesitation.
