How does pickup work?+
Pickup may be arranged from hotels in the city center or designated locations within city limits. Additional charges may apply for pickups outside of these central areas based on the distance.
What's the itinerary?+
• The journey begins with pickup from your hotel in the morning for a city tour. You will pass by major points of interest in Mangalore, including the Gokarnath Temple, which is dedicated to God Gokarnath, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Another notable site is the Town Hall, recognized for its impressive columns. You will also view vibrant markets, including those selling fish and vegetables. • Following the city exploration, the tour continues with a drive to the Artisans’ Village located in Pilikula Nisargadhama. This settlement features cottages where local craftsmen engage in traditional trades passed down through generations. Some of the skills showcased include pottery, weaving, carpentry, blacksmithing, oil processing, fish net weaving, and stone carving. The village also includes a traditional manor house of coastal landlords, with intricate woodwork designed by expert artisans to withstand varying climates. Lunch (beverages not included) will be provided at a local restaurant at the end of the tour. After your meal, you will be returned to your hotel.
