What's the itinerary?+
• Pickup from your hotel in the morning for a city tour. You will drive past key sights in Mangalore, including the stunning Gokarnath Temple, which is devoted to God Gokarnath, a form of the Hindu deity Shiva. The Town Hall, known for its grand columns, is another notable building. The tour includes views of vibrant markets, such as the local fish and vegetables market. • Following the city tour, proceed to the Artisans’ Village at Pilikula Nisargadhama. This village features cottages occupied by local artisans practicing traditional trades that have been passed down through generations. Notable crafts include pottery, weaving, carpentry, blacksmithing, oil processing, fish net weaving, and stone carving. You can also visit a traditional manor house once owned by coastal landlords, characterized by intricately carved woodwork that is adapted to withstand harsh weather conditions. At the conclusion of the tour, lunch is available at a local restaurant (at your own cost). After lunch, you will be taken back to your hotel.
