Guests are required to submit their hotel name and address during booking or at least three days before the trip. The guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby at the arranged time. Contact information will be provided one day before the tour.

• 8:00 AM - Pickup from your hotel in Mangalore. Your driver will arrive at your Mangalore hotel at 8:00 AM to begin your full-day trip to Belur and Halebeedu. 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Travel to Belur (180kms/approximately 4 hours one way). The journey to Belur is roughly 180 kilometers from Mangalore and will take around 4 hours, allowing time to relax and take in the region's natural beauty. • 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM - Visit Chennakeshava Temple in Belur. Upon reaching Belur, you will go directly to the Chennakeshava Temple, considered a prime example of Hoysala architecture. The star-shaped temple sits on a raised platform and is made of black stone, featuring detailed carvings. Notable elements include the winged Garuda figure at the entrance and friezes adorned with 650 elephants. During your time at the temple, you can appreciate the elaborate carvings and sculptures that embellish the walls, including bracket figures that reflect a variety of themes. • 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM - Lunch break at a local restaurant (not included). • After sightseeing, return drive to Mangalore with drop-off at your hotel. • 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Travel to Halebeedu (17kms from Belur). After lunch, you will journey to Halebeedu, located only 17 kilometers from Belur. This drive will take about an hour, during which you can continue to enjoy the local landscape. • 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM - Visit Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebeedu. Once in Halebeedu, you will explore the Hoysaleswara Temple, known for its intricate stone carvings depicting various deities. As you tour the temple, you will be struck by the fine detail and artistic craftsmanship showcased in the sculptures. Along with Hoysaleswara Temple, you may also visit the nearby Jain bastics, noted for their architectural significance and beauty. • 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM - Drive back to Mangalore and drop-off at your hotel. Following your visit to the temples at Halebeedu, you will start your return to Mangalore. This drive will take about 4 hours, during which you will be able to relax and enjoy the scenery. Your driver will deliver you back at your Mangalore hotel around 8:30 PM.
