Our driver, Ko Bala, was outstanding. Before the tour, we worked together to select which places to visit and opted to skip a few attractions for more time at others. He drove skillfully and took us to all the best spots, adjusting the itinerary to match our pace, allowing ample time for appreciating the sights and taking photos. I recommend bringing enough Kyats for any extras.
I want to thank my driver Nim for making my private tour so enjoyable today. He even took the time to take photos for me at times. While most places were fascinating, some were quite crowded. It would have been better not to pay separate entrance fees at every location, as part of the appeal of booking a tour is to avoid these additional tasks.
Ko Bala was my driver and guide, accompanying me throughout the day. His English was excellent, and he shared fascinating history about the pagodas. He was very patient when I asked for photos and always looked out for me in any situation. I’m thankful for the time I spent with him on this long day.
Booking this was an excellent decision. Our driver, Ko Balo, arrived on time, was very kind, and always attentive to our needs. It was the perfect way to explore the Mandalay area in one day, ensuring we made it to the U Bein Bridge for sunset. I highly recommend it.
We had a fantastic day exploring Amarapura, Sagaing, and Innwa with our driver, Joshua. His English was superb, and he provided great insights about each location. Joshua was also very friendly and happily addressed all our questions.
We had a lovely time on the tour, mainly because our guide helped us skip two hours of riding on a horse cart.
We opted for this tour at the last minute, and they were incredibly accommodating, organizing a wonderful experience for us. Our driver, Aung Aung, was excellent and ensured we had an amazing journey. Highly recommended.
The booking process was easy, and communication was superb. Our guide, Ko Bala, arrived promptly and made us feel comfortable right away, adding significant value to our experience. The excursion went according to schedule, with the guide engaging us with warmth and flexibility. We visited many fascinating places and met unique individuals, making it a fun-filled day. It truly was a wonderful experience.
I booked this trip last minute, but it turned out fantastic. Aung Aung greeted me with a smile at reception, and he was an excellent driver, providing information en route. At the ticket office, he organized my ticket, and I just had to pay. Once on the ferry for the morning excursion, it was straightforward and incredible. Afterward, the driver was quick to find me again, and his English was excellent. We traveled in a clean, air-conditioned car without needing to crowd onto buses. We visited all the places I could imagine and more. I'm exhausted after such a wonderful long day.
I had a fantastic day exploring culture outside of Mandalay. We began with Innwa, the first capital from the 14th century, where we navigated dirt roads to see temples and pagodas, and flip flops were necessary since we'd be barefoot quite a bit. Next was Sagaing, with its impressive 900 monasteries, followed by a stroll around Amarapura and its historic wooden bridge. While the tour was advertised as 20 hours, it was more like 10, which worked perfectly for me.
