This experience was quite unlike any other. I tried it for my adventurous daughter, although I'm scared of heights, making it a considerable challenge for me. The instructors were excellent, and I felt secure throughout. Indoor skydiving is more challenging than it seems, mainly due to the balance required. It offered a distinct sensation of weightlessness combined with control over my movements. Overall, it was truly a unique experience with top-notch staff.
I would rate this lower, but my teenager really enjoyed it. I found it quite overpriced for the amount of time spent there. It was frustrating that they packed in so many people despite assuring us of a small group due to the virus; there were nine people in total. While masks are required, you have to remove them once you're in the tank, which feels risky with others around. They should definitely reduce group sizes. For what they're charging, they need to extend the flight times. I spent over $150 for just four flights, and I'm not sure the additional $28 to go higher was worth it since the time up there was only a few seconds. My kid loved it, though, and we're planning to return soon to spend more.
Visiting a close friend in Ashburn after a challenging week in Texas turned out to be just what I needed. Instead of dwelling on my troubles, my friend took me to Ifly the next day. Those three hours were an unforgettable experience that allowed me to unwind and forget about everything else.
