• Pickup will be from a designated location or hotel for sightseeing. The Hadimba Temple, dating back to the 16th century, is located amidst cedar forests and is a significant attraction due to its picturesque surroundings. It honors Hadimba, the spouse of Bheema, one of the five protagonists of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. The temple features elaborately carved wooden doors showcasing representations of the Earth Goddess, Durga, and instead of a statue of the Goddess, it houses a large stone that bears her footprint. • Following the temple visit, there will be a stop at a Tibetan monastery to explore Tibetan cultural practices and traditions, with an opportunity for quiet reflection in its serene environment. • The Vashisht Temple, dedicated to the Hindu Sage Vashishta, is noted for its believed healing waters. Sage Vashishta was the mentor of Lord Rama, a key figure in Hinduism. The area was home to the Vashishta clan until 1534, when Mughal Emperor Akbar took control of the temple and surrounding villages, exiling the clan's descendants to the Punjab region. • The tour concludes with time to explore various vibrant shops along the Mall, which is the main thoroughfare in Manali. After the tour, return transportation will be provided back to the initial pickup point or your hotel.
