• Pickup from your hotel in Madurai is scheduled for 7 am, followed by a private car transfer to Tiruchirappalli to explore the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple (also referred to as Thiruvarangam Tamil). A guide will provide insights on the significance of this Hindu temple, dedicated to Ranganatha (a reclining Vishnu), and discuss its location on an island in the Cauvery River, which makes it prone to natural disasters. • Around 1 pm, there will be a break for lunch (not included in the cost), after which the journey continues to Thanjavur to visit the Royal Palace and Art Gallery. • The itinerary also includes a visit to the Brihadeeshwara Temples. • Additionally, the tour will feature Peruvudaiyar Kovil, a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, recognized as an exemplary representation of Tamil architecture from the Chola dynasty. Known by various names like Periya Kovil, Brihadeshwara Temple, RajaRajeswara Temple, and Rajarajeswaram, it ranks among the largest temples in India. Around 4 pm, you will relax in the private car as your driver transports you back to your hotel in Madurai, with an expected arrival at approximately 5 pm.
