Known as the Athens of the South, it boasts a remarkable history. The current city was founded by the Pandya rulers and later expanded under Nayak rule. It is abundant in culture and heritage. You will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and taken to Meenakshi Temple to start your heritage walk.
