What's the itinerary?+
• Pickup will be from Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) near Amman, followed by a transfer to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, additional options for activities may be available that day, including a city tour, cooking class, or wine tasting. Overnight stay in Amman. • On the following day, a visit to the ancient Nabatean city of Petra is planned. Petra is recognized as one of the New7Wonders of the Modern World. Upon reaching the visitor center, you will walk through the Siq, a narrow canyon with high walls, leading to the iconic Treasury. You will have the opportunity to admire this magnificent structure carved in stone thousands of years ago. You can also explore the rest of the Rose-Red City, which features numerous caves, tombs, a Roman theater, and palatial buildings. For those who enjoy walking, there is the option to hike to the High Place of Sacrifice or the Monastery. In the evening, return to Amman for rest. Meals included: Breakfast Overnight stay in Amman. • The next day includes travel to King Hussein/Allenby Bridge for crossing into Israel/Palestine, following an early breakfast. Once across the border, one of our drivers will meet you in Jerusalem and take you to the Mt of Olives, where the tour will start with a scenic view of the city. You will then follow the Palm Sunday route down the mountain to the Garden of Gethsemane, traditionally believed to be the place where Jesus prayed before his crucifixion. You will enter the Old City on foot and move through the four quarters (Muslim, Christian, Jewish, and Armenian) to see important landmarks, including the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. You will have time to explore the vibrant markets and trace 4000 years of history. Meals included: Breakfast Overnight stay in Jerusalem. • Depart from your hotel to Bethlehem, crossing into the West Bank and making a stop at the Separation Wall. Continue into the modern city of Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, which is believed to be located at the birthplace of Jesus. Afterward, visit the Shepherd’s Fields in Beit Sahour, where tradition holds that the angels announced Jesus’ birth. Your journey will then take you back to Jerusalem. If time allows, you may visit a site in the western part of the city, such as the Mahane Yehuda Market, Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Memorial), or the Israel Museum (home of the Dead Sea Scrolls). Discuss your preferences with your driver or guide, keeping in mind that museums may close early on certain days. Meals included: Breakfast Overnight stay in Amman. • Based on your flight schedule, optional tours or activities can be arranged, such as an Amman city tour, a visit to the Dead Sea, or a trip to the ancient Mosaic Maps in Madaba. When it’s time to depart, you will be picked up from a previously arranged location and taken back to Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). End of services.
