Tour the Citadel and Roman Theater, two significant archaeological sites, and try falafel and hummus for the first time. After lunch, travel to Madaba, a small Christian town south of Amman, known for its Byzantine mosaics. The ‘Madaba Map’, the oldest preserved map of the Middle East, is a highlight of your visit. Next, head to Mt Nebo for views over the Dead Sea and the Judean desert mountains, reflecting on how Moses may have gazed upon the Promised Land from there. Meals included: Breakfast.
